The Nanotechnology Education for Industry and Society (nanoEIS) had a workshop on education and training in Europe. Europe has been focused on industrial innovation and found that nanotechnology is stimulating much of this innovation. The study reports the need for nanotechnology education for organization outside of the R&D and industrial production to develop an ecosystem across multidisciplinary industries.
